Description :

Two kabuki scenes in this triptych. The left inset shows two quarreling sumo wrestlers, Onogawa (Left: played by Kataoka Gado) and Raiden (top: Bando kakitsu). Nakamura Sojuro is in the role of referee. The right inset shows a princess (left: played by Iwai Shijaku) and a court lady writing a paper (right: Iwai Hanshiro).
