Description :
Thatch roofed farmhouse in rural Japan. These old farmhouses have now nearly died out. Many were abandoned after world war II. Quite a few Japanese printmakers like Mitsuhiro Unno or Ryohei Tanaka have devoted their ourvre to the preservation of these images.
