Description :
Beauty is performing a puppet show on a go-board. This is Gyosui's woodblock version of Early Edo master TSUKIOKA Settei (1710 - 86) painting. Gyosui was a rare distinguished female Nihon-ga artist before W.W.II. She was daughter of Kyosai and known for her sensitive depictions of beauties.
