Description :
This work was exhibited at the 50th CWAJ (College Women of Japan) print show - see page 52, item no. 78. Technically it is a woodblock print with hand-coloring, printed on a hand-made paper from Thailand. This is not a paper as you are used to it. It is rather more like a thick paper-mach with a very textured surface that takes a nearly three-dimensional structure. This work of art feels more like an oil painting made with very thick colors. Please note: the edges are uneven as are most modern paper works by Daniel Kelly. For a further understanding of Daniel Kelly's art works, please read our extensive biography of the artist.
