Description :

Kuchi-e for the popular novel, "Konjiki Yasha" (Golden Night Devil or Demon Gold) by Ozaki Koyo. Kan'ichi and Miya once had been lovers but they were corrupted by the greed and the revenge, separated from each other. In this scene at Atami beach, Kan'ichi kicks Miya and walks away. Keishu commented that the design was carved on woodblocks but the printing was done using the Western ink and paper.
