From Sugakudo's best known series, "Sho Utsushi Shiju-hachi Taka" (Exact Reproductions of Forty-eight Hawks). No. 36. A bird on the branch of cherryblossom. Maple tree is behind. Sugakudo was a highly regarded pupil of Hiroshige for his kacho-ga.
