Description :

"Azuma Nishiki Chuya Kurabe" (Edo Embroidery Pictures, Comparison of Day and Night). Two sisters, Gigyoku and Gijo, were beautiful dancers in Gion. They were mistress of Taira Koyomori. But after a while, they were disillusioned. They wrote a farewell poem on shoji screen and became nuns in the Sagi Mountains.
