"Bijutsu Sekai" (The World of Art) Vol.5. Picture album series compiled by Seitei WATANABE introducing the works of well known artists of Meiji era and Seitei himself. The series also includes the designs by old masters such as Okyo. These designs were transferred to woodblock prints mostly from paintings. The series of 25 volumes were published during 1890-94. This volume includes 11 double page and 2 single page illustrations plus 2 small black and white illustration of poets on the back. The legendary hero Momotaro by Seitei, monkey by Mishima Shoso, peacock by Goshun etc.
