Description :

"Mitate Tsuki Zukushi; Misashi no Tsuki" (Collection of the Full Moon Parodied; The Moon over Musashi). Ichikawa Danjuro VIII is in the role of Omatsuri Sashichi. His dragon coiled around a sword tattoo (this design is called "kurikaraken") represents God Fudo Myo-o. The design might have been connected to the legend of storm god Susa-no-o, also.
