Description :
Joyous parade by Gion Shinchi? club for the Yasaka Shrine Festival in July. The members are wearing costumes for kabuki and other famous characters such as Kajiwara Genta, Ono Komachi, Fuji Musume, Benkei etc. Musicians at the front and the back of the procession are providing traditional music. The participants and the character names are grouped together by twelve different months.
