Description :
From the series, "Sori Godai Hanga Shu" (Print Album of Five Different kinds of Sleigh). A lady is about to ride in a "Hako-sori" (Box Sleigh) which is used as a taxi. Tokushi was well known in Japan for the charming depiction of his snowy country, Akita prefecture. His warm, folk style manner was reminiscent to that of Maekawa Senpan.
