Description :
"Seiyo Soka Zufu" (The Picture Album of Western Plants and Flowers) total 5 volumes. Each volume has 25 sheets (365x260mm oban size). Various Western flowers and exotic house plants such as roses, gloxinia, cyclamen, poinsettia, orchids were depicted in detailed illustrations with rich colors. 2 volumes each for the spring and the summer seasons and 1 volume for the autumn-winter season. The brief explanations for the plants were given in Japanese at the front of each volume.
